This is the T-connector for a Bidet Toilet Seat that connects to the existing water line that supplies the water to your Bidet Toilet Seat. This T-connector connects to the ½" or 3/8" wall valve intended for your toilet, like in the photo below.
Most wall valves are ½" and some are 3/8" and this T-connector will work with either one. If you are looking for the 7/8" T-connector that connects to the toilet tank, this link will take you to the 7/8" Bidet Toilet Seat T-connector page.
They are very easy to install and this is all you need to do:
1. Shut off the water valve to the toilet.
2. Then flush the toilet to relive pressure from water line.
3. Then check to make sure water is completely off and not running into the flush valve in the toilet tank.
4. Loosen and remove the female end of the water hose leading from the wall valve.
5. Make sure that all connections have the proper gaskets.
6. Check to see if you have ½" or 3/8" male connection on your wall valve, if you do have the 3/8", then you will need to install the ½" to 3/8" adapter first before installing the ½" T-connector.
7. Now install the female end of the ½" T-connector to the male connection on the wall valve or adapter and turn until sung using a wrench to tighten.
8. Now reconnect the female end of the water line coming from the toilet tank to the top of the male T-connector making sure you have a good sung fit using a wrench.
9. Now connect the ½" female water line for the Bidet Toilet Seat to the ½" male T-connector end and then connect the other end of the female ½" water line to the ½" male connection on the side of the Bidet Toilet Seat, making sure that all connections are tighten but not over tightened.
10. First make sure all connections are dry, now slowly turn the water valve on and look for leaks and use some toilet paper to check for water. If you do have a leak, loosen the offending connection to make sure the gasket is in place and or no debris are obstructing the gasket.
