TO ENFORCE YOUR RIGHT UNDER THIS WARRANTY, MAKE SURE
1.    You are purchasing the BA07 Bidet by COWAY, if applicable, optional filters, or accessories (hereafter “COWAY product” or “COWAY products”) from an independent, authorized COWAY Distributor, Dealer, or Sales Representative.
2.    Subject to the conditions and exceptions stated below, The COWAY Company (“Company”), 695 S. Vermont Ave #110, Los Angeles, CA 90005, U.S.A., warrants to the original purchaser (OTHER THAN FOR PURPOSES OF RESALE) that each COWAY product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and service, for one (1) year from date of purchase by the original purchaser as to all components, except expendables as defined below in paragraph 4 and 5, when used for personal, family, or household purposes (“consumer purposes”); or for one hundred eighty (180) days or 6 months from the date of purchase by the original purchaser as to all components, except expendables as defined below in paragraph 4 and 5, when used for commercial, professional, retail, institutional, etc., purposes (“commercial purposes”).
3.    During the applicable warranty period, the Company will furnish for the COWAY product a replacement part for any part found to be defective, through an authorized COWAY Dealer.  All transportation expense must be borne by the purchaser.
4.    This One Year Manufacturer Warranty does not apply to:
(1)    Filters, installation parts, or other expendables, charges for labor or service calls, damage caused by accident, misuse, negligence, or abuse.
(2)    Damage or loss which occurs during shipment.
(3)    Damage of loss sustained through any natural or manmade causes beyond the control of COWAY, including but not limited to fire, earthquake, floods, etc.
(4)    Damage or loss resulting from sediments or foreign matter contained in a water system.
(5)    Damage or loss resulting from negligent or improper installation including installation of unit in a harsh or hazardous environment.
(6)    Damage or loss resulting from removal, improper repair, modification of the product, or improper maintenance including damage caused by limestone, chlorine, or chlorine related products.
(7)    Damage or loss resulting from electrical surges, electrical outages, lightning strikes or other acts which are not the fault of COWAY or which the Product is not specified to tolerate.

5.    Service or repair performed by an unauthorized agent can seriously damage your COWAY product and affect your rights under this warranty.  COWAY is not responsible for the cost of any service or repair provided by an unauthorized agent.  In addition, this Manufacturer Warranty does not apply to:
(1)    Any defect or damage that has been caused  by an unauthorized agent;
(2)    Any parts other than genuine COWAY parts; or
(3)    Any COWAY product which has been repaired, altered, or structurally modified so as, in the judgment of the Company, to affect its stability or reliability.

6.     This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights which vary from state to state.
THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY MADE BY COWAY. REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AVAILABLE TO THE PURCHASER. COWAY SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT OR FOR OTHER INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXPENSES INCURRED BY THE PURCHASER OR FOR LABOR OR OTHER COSTS DUE TO INSTALLATION OR REMOVAL OR COSTS OF REPAIRS BY OTHERS, OR FOR ANY OTHER EXPENSE NOT SPECIFICALLY STATED ABOVE. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THAT OF MERCHANTABILITY, ARE EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION AND EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
How to Obtain Service
To obtain repair service under this warranty, you must contact an authorized COWAY Dealer or Service Center to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.  Proof of purchase in the form of a copy of your original receipt must accompany the returned unit for the warranty to be valid.  Take or ship the unit pre-paid to the closest authorized COWAY Dealer or Service Center along with your RMA number and proof of purchase.  Because of personal hygiene concerns and government regulations, this product can not be returned once if it has been installed.
